Susan Ratliff, LPC has been independently licensed since 1998, and she has been practicing in North Alabama for the past 25 years. She has extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings and has served a wide variety of populations. Her current area of clinical specialty is individually working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues, trauma, and/or substance abuse. Susan's ultimate goal is to improve individuals' and families' lives by assisting in their emotional development.
Susan is also able to supervise clinicians seeking supervised work experience to obtain licensure. She can provide first-hand experience with a primary focus on continuing education in working with a diverse spectrum of populations and conditions.
Susan's greatest strength in this field is her unending love of learning about the human condition and how our experiences affect our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She has a passion for helping others and believes that all people can find their strengths and thrive. Her vibe is open, inclusive, honest, and relaxed.
